What is FIDEAL?

Dear All, There is a $COMPSET called F_IDEAL_PHYS or FIDEAL. It is interesting to see that only CAM component is turned on (2000_CAM%IDEAL_SLND_SICE_SOCN_SROF_SGLC_SWAV). Does it even read in any boundary condition for the atm? What does it do without any component? Does it just run without any energy or tracer exchange with the boundaries? Does it even have topography drag?Thanks.
