What is the meaning of level in the output file of CAM?

Hello guys!
I want to replace the default SO2 emission with my own SO2 emissions. However, I don't know what the dimension 'lev' means.

I think it maybe indicate the elevation or height, but I don't know the unit of this dimension.
Centimeters? Meters? Or kilometers?
I really need the help. Thanks a lot!!
