When the compsets are fully coupled, will the coupling result be affected by turning off the output of the land ?

Hi all,
l am running fully coupled pre-industrial simulation (B1850) with CESM1.1.3. When the compsets are fully coupled, will the coupling result be affected by turning off the output of the land ?

By output, do you mean land history file output? Are you trying to reduce the amount of land history output?

I only care about the atmosphere and ocean, not the land . So I don't output any variables by changing user_nl_clm:
hist_ empty_ htapes=. true.
Can I modify it like this? Will it affect the coupling results?
