convert precipitation from m/s to mm

Hi all;
I ran the cesm model monthly for 10 years. However, the amount of precipitation is m/s, but I want this amount in mm for each month. Is there a way to convert it to mm?

Multiply by the number of seconds for each month then multiply by 1000 to go from meters to millimeters.
