what does met_srf_feedback= false mean?

Hi all,
I am trying out a specified dynamics compset (old scheme).
I came across met_srf_feedback under metdata_nl namelist group.
met_srf_feedback
Valid Values ['.true.', '.false.']
Description:
If false then do not allow surface models feedbacks influence climate
Default: true
Can someone elaborate on the meaning of met_srf_feedback=false, given that advisable percentage of nudging=10% which means 90% comes from the model calculating at each time step and 10% comes from MERRA2/GEOSS5 meteorology?
Keeping the value of met_srf_feedback=false does'nt basically mean nudging of 100% wherein there are no feedbacks to meteorology and meteorology is linearly interpolated at each timestep?

Is there a way of stopping the feedback of aerosols on meteorology in a specified dynamic compset(old scheme) assuming i am going for 10% nudging which means there will be 90% of feedback from aerosols on meteorology?
I am using FWSD compset.
Also from which file and from which variable is snow height read by the model when met_srf_feedback is FALSE?
