Tons of tmp/ ifrot/ ifortdummy.c files appear in my work directory on Cheyenne.

Hi everyone,

I built and run several cases on Cheyenne. Then I found tons of tmp dummy.c files under /glade/scrach/myaccount/ , as well as several 'trash folders' like /tmp1ovwp_87, as shown in the picture below.
1. What is the reason and how to solve this issue?
2. If I am not sure which case they are from, while the case is waiting to run or running, can I delete them?

My source code is in /glade/u/home/myaccount/muycesm_sandbox. The model is built to /glade/work/myaccount/CESM/CaseName. The results from each case is at /glade/scratch/myaccount/CaseName, and then stored in /glade/scratch/myaccount/archive/.
