Can you please give more information about what you're trying to do? Are you trying to examine the current simulation date in the Fortran code in some model component? If so, the way this is done will differ for each component and you can get the best help by posting your specific question to the appropriate component forum.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your suggestions. I'm currently working on the CLM, I thought CESM would use the same module to manage the time step. I'll post this question in the CTSM section. Thank you.
