Whether the AAER experiment within the CESM1 single-forcing framework yields no SST results? Thanks.

It looks like SST was not output for the CESM1 aaer simulations. You could use TS which is the same as SST in grid boxes that 100% ocean. There will be some deviations from SST in any grid boxes that have non-zero land fraction.
