What version of the code are you using?
alpha-ctsm5.2.mksrf.23_ctsm5.1.dev171-1-g95dfcff30

Have you made any changes to files in the source tree?
Some code changes for irrigation partitioning described in GitHub - amansnama/USGS_irrigation_clm: Implementation of USGS irrigation ratio in CLM5

Describe your problem or question:
AGLB and AGSB variables at the grid level and PFT level are filled with zeros. Other carbon cycle variables like GPP, NPP, AGNPP, etc. contain valid values. Is this a known bug in this version and has it been fixed? Or is there some issue with my case run?

Attached are the grid level ncview and pft 17 and 18 (rainfed and irrigated corn) ncview for AGLB.

I'm not aware of a bug, so I recommend that you run a control simulation, i.e. with the code out-of-the-box to see if you get the same behavior.

It looks like those variables are specific to satellite phenology mode only.
For BGC mode, I think you would want LEAFC, and LIVESTEMC + DEADSTEMC.
