A curious behaviour in PIO building

Hi every one, I hope you all are doing well with the coronavirus.

Reading one of the post with a PIO problem invite me to submit this one.

When building cesm2 models (2.1.0 to 2.1.3) I have initially a problem building PIO module (it crash). But if I compile it again without changing any thing else (just submiting again ./case.build) now it builds without any error.

Find attached the pio.bldlog files for both cases.

Any hint will be wellcome

I can't really tell what the problem was - what cmake version are you using?

Hi Edwards, I'm using cmake version 2.8.10.2

I think that may be the problem - can you update to a 3.x version?

Thanks Jim, I've changed to cmake 3.14 and now PIO compiles without any problem
