A question about the inputdata carbon dioxide in CAM

Dears:

I run the BHIST and SSP scenarios compsets using CESM. When I check the file of atm_in, it shows three terms about carbon dioxide. The first is the aircraft three-dimension emissions of carbon dioxide, the second is the the lower boundary condition of greenhouse gases, and the last one is the anthropogenic surface emissions of carbon dioxide. I would like to understand the co-relationship of the three inputdatas about the carbon dioxide well.

Recently, I just think the LB boundary condition of carbon dioxide is calculated by the two emissions in some schemes。

IF I want to design some experiments of carbon neutrality, can I modify the emissions of carbon dioxide only?

Sincerely appreciate for any useful suggestions!

Yours
