about the boundary

I wonder when using POP to simulate a region, how can I add the lateral boundaty?
for example, I plan to simulate the temperature and salinity field of the South China Sea, and want to take account of the influence of the Kuroshio current from the Bashi Strait.
Should I correct the Fortran procedure by myself?

You will need to customize your version of pop for your particular application by modifying the appropriate pop FORTRAN modules.
