Adding the SST anomalies in Slab Ocean Model

Hi, Forums!
I am trying to add the SST anomalies in the tropical Pacific to check the responses of other areas by slab ocean model. Therefore, i prefer that the tropical Pacific just play as the forcing role, but the coupling is carried out in other areas. This step is necessary in "pacemaker" experiments in a full-couple model. How can i achieve it in the slab ocean model?

We should add an FAQ here. The pacemaker configuration is not supported in the CESM code. You are welcome to modify docn_comp_mod.F90 to add SST anomalies in your own code sandbox or SourceMods/src.docn.
