I'm running a fully coupled paleoclimate simulation using CCSM3. Instead of using the default aerosol optics and aerosol mass mixing ratio files, I need to set the uniform aerosol optical depth over all grid points. Is there any namelist functionality in cam.buildnml_prestage.csh that I can use in order to accomplish this task? Any suggestion will be appreciated.
