calculate carbon emissions from vegetation fire

Hi all,

I have a simple question: How can I calculate carbon emissions from vegetation fires? For example, in CMIP6, there is a variable called fVegFire, which represents the carbon mass flux from vegetation into the atmosphere due to CO2 emissions from all fires.

However, I couldn't find the corresponding variable in the CESM output(https://www.cesm.ucar.edu/community-projects/lens2/output-variables). Perhaps I'm using the wrong search terms?

Thank you for your help!
