Hi, if we want to remove all aerosols over China, you need to modify all the aerosol surface emissions and external forcing emissions (supposedly only from biomass burning and anthropogenic emissions) as well as the corresponding num_* . emissions.
To modify emission files, you can use your favorite computer language, phython, ncl, idl, open the files and set the aerosol emissions to zero over the area in question.
