can I run CESM F component with daily input SST?

Dear Forum,I plan to force the F_CAM5 CESM model with daily changing high resolution SST.I know that by default the model read in monthly SST and interpolate it linearly into every time step.Did anybody tried to force the model with daily changing SST?I am studying SST's effect on storms(7 day life period), in which case monthly changing SST do not make sence.Could anybody kindly give me some clue to make this work?Many Thanks,Yinglai

You should be able to run with daily SSTs. The file needs to be in the same format (names, attributes) as the monthly.

Sorry, we don't provide daily SST data. The model should work with monthly data if you have them but we only provide monthly data with CESM.
