Hello, everyone I have ported CESM1.0.4 onto a new machine. I made test runs in resolution of T31_g37 and successfully got archive files. But it doesn’t work well in f19_g16 or higher resolutions such as f09_g16. The case can be built and submitted without any error, but the model doesn’t output any temporary data files after the ocean component outputs a file named ‘test.pop.h.hv.nc’, in which all variables are zero, which makes no sense. However, the corresponding file in successful case has reasonable values which has a distinct and reasonable pattern.I have checked the ocean’s log file which shows that the model has computed reasonable variables before writing them into ‘test.pop.h.hv.nc’ and the conversion to this .nc file seems correct. Could the failure in writing a correct .nc file cause the model stops output the sequent temporary data files? I doubt if I have overlooked some environment settings for running model in f19_g16.I have been stucked in this problem for one week. I appreciate any kind of suggestions and ideas to solve this problem, i.e. obtain reasonable .nc file with f19_g16 settings.
