Can't find initial datafiles of B_RCP8.5_CAM5_CN for CESM1.2.2 on svn

Dear all,Our group is trying to run CESM1.2.2 with RCP 8.5 scenario from the component set B_RCP8.5_CAM5_CN.However, we cannot find the initial files such as    b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cam.i.2006-01-01-00000.nc   b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.clm2.r.2006-01-01-00000.nc   b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cice.r.2006-01-01-00000.nc   b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.clm2.r.2006-01-01-00000.ncfrom the directory of https://svn-ccsm-inputdata.cgd.ucar.edu/trunk/inputdata/ccsm4_init/b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001/2006-01-01 with svn.Could you please help us locate the data? Many thanks! Sincerely,Yi-Chi

This run was done on jaguar. Does someone has access to bring the data on the repository ?This case is part of "ccsm_utils/Case.template/config_compsets.xml", so it should on the repository.

Hi Hannay,Under the b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001/2006-01-01/ folder we have b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cam2.i.2006-01-01-00000.nc, but RCP8.5/54.5 needs b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cam.i.2006-01-01-00000.nc restart file. I got the simulation crushed just because of this. So Can I just change the file naem from *.cam2*.nc to
*.cam*.n, or can you please provide me the  *.cam2*.nc file. Thanks
Cheers, Alcide

Hi Yi-Chi,I wonder if you can provide me the restart files for B_RCP8.5_CAM5_CN configuration. Since in the CESM repository the initial condition dataset is different from the one that cam.input_data_list indicates. Namely, b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cam.i.2006-01-01-00000.nc, but not b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cam2.i.2006-01-01-00000.nc which we can find here https://svn-ccsm-inputdata.cgd.ucar.edu/trunk/inputdata/ccsm4_init/b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001/2006-01-01/.Thak you very muchCheers, Alcide

Hi Alcide! Have you solved this problem? Is it done by simply changing the filename or through other solutions? Thanks a lot, Hoping for reply!

@Mengyao Xu the filename just needs to be changed from "cam2" to "cam" as explained above. The file contents is the same.
So you can download the data from SVN, and then rename the one file from *.cam2.*.nc to *.cam.*.nc.

Dear Erik, thanks for your reply! However, I changed the filename from "cam2" to "cam" and gone through the same workflow, but the log still showed error as below(same as last time):

Opened existing file b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cam.r.2006-01-01-00000.nc
65536
NetCDF: Attribute not found
NetCDF: Attribute not found
NetCDF: Variable not found
pio_support::pio_die:: myrank= -1 : ERROR: nf_mod.F90: 679 :
NetCDF: Variable not found

Does this mean the restart file "b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001.cam.r.2006-01-01-00000.nc" cannot be used?
BTW, I also looked into my atmlog file, no errors showed but the modeling process was just interrupted.
Any further advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
