case.build fails during buildlib.gptl

I'm trying to run an out-of-box aquaplanet run for CESM, every time I do ./case.build the build fails at buildlib.gptl. I've downloaded the CESM source code directly from the tutorial Downloading CESM2 (CESM2.1) — CESM CESM2.1 documentation

This is what is output when I try to do the build run

It looks like you may be trying to build CESM on an unsupported machine. Have you gone through the porting information here?: 6. Porting and validating CIME on a new platform — CIME master documentation
