Hi all,

Could you please let me know where to find the following informations

1.  The input binary format for CICE ( the contents of the binary file)2.  The input netcdf format for CICE

I did manage to create forcing fields in netcdf format but something wrong with my time coordinate variable. The  model runs for 1 month and then stops. Thanks and RegardsSiva

If you are able to use netCDF, I would not recommend binary. To find out the format of the netCDF restarts, have a look in $DIN_LOC_ROOT/ccsm4_init at the CICE initial files there.Dave
