CCSM Runs- Help!!!!

This is a very simple question.

I am running files like this.. psl_A2.SRESA1B_2.CCSM.atmd.2000-01-01_cat_2039-12-31.nc and doing computations.... I am using daily data and there are only 4 runs that have this. Anyways. My concern is that I do not know what the difference is between the 4 runs. I have results but, I can not explain them. Is there a place I can find this documentation? The runs are called Run 2, Run 3, Run 5, Run 7.

Thanks so much.

Sincerely,

Lara

Put simply, each of the A1B runs is a continuation of its predecessor 20th century (20C3M) run, each of which was started from a different year of the 1870 control (PIcntrl) run:

SRESA1B_2 -> 20C3M_2 -> PIcntrl_1 @ 380
SRESA1B_3 -> 20C3M_3 -> PIcntrl_1 @ 400
SRESA1B_5 -> 20C3M_5 -> PIcntrl_1 @ 440
SRESA1B_7 -> 20C3M_7 -> PIcntrl_2 @ 410
