We are pleased to announce the release of CESM1.0.6.
The CESM1.0.6 release is an incremental update release of the CESM1.0.z
series that includes:
8 new component sets
machine updates
bug fixes
Please review the CESM1.0.z series website and release notes at
http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/cesm1.0/tags/index.html for detailed
information regarding this new release.
The CESM website (http://www2.cesm.ucar.edu) and CESM Support Policy
(http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/cesmsupportpolicy.html)
have been updated to help facilitate users in understanding CESM
including which model versions are currently supported and
recommendations regarding which version of the model to run for your
experiments.
** IMPORTANT NOTE ** Starting with CESM1.0.6, the Subversion repository
path has changed. All documentation for downloading the most current version
of the model has been updated in the Release Notes and the CESM User's Guide
to reflect this change. Older version download instruction differences
are noted
in the documentation.
We encourage all users to participate in the DiscussCESM Forums Bulletin
Board (http://bb.cgd.ucar.edu) if you have specific questions regarding
configuring and running CESM.
