So, here is the story...I currently have access to a local server (Agri) at UC Davis and recently ran into an issue with my model run. I'm running CESM 1.2 with custom mapping, topography, and grid files in the CAM5.0 build of the model. To give you some details on my build, the dynamical core is spectral element, the grid type is cubed sphere, and the compset is F_AMIP_CAM5. The issue that is arising is that I'm running a simulation from 1999-2011 and as soon as the run hits Dec. 14th, 2006 the run errors out and the following error message is prescribed in my CAM and CCSM log files: (shr_sys_abort) ERROR: GETFIL: FAILED to get /home/arhoades/csmdata/atm/cam/ozone/ozone_1.9x2.5_L26_1850-2005_c090804.nc I went into the ozone directory above and saw that there is a similar file (ozone_1.9x2.5_L26_1850-2005_c090803.nc), but it isn't being sourced and the file highlighted above (i.e., *0804.nc) isn't seen in the directory. Additionally, I noticed (based on the file string name) that the ozone data only spans from 1850 to 2005 and I'm trying to simulate to 2011. With that being said, I have two questions: 1) Is my model output in 2006 invalid (due to lack of ozone forcings?)2) Is there another file available for ozone that would extend past 2005 that I could source in the CAM namelist? Best regards, AR
