Hi all,

I encountered an error while running the model, which unfortunately I do not know the reason for. I use CESM-Lab-2.2 container. Also the component and resolution are FWscHIST and f09_f09_mg17, respectively. I will send you the log files.

yours sincerely

I also tried the FW2000climo component with a resolution of f09_f09_mg17, but unfortunately I got the error again.

How much memory do you have on your system? Running a FW2000climo component at f09 takes ~84GB of RAM, give or take a bit depending on how many cores you use.

Dear Dobbins,

Fortunately, this problem was solved by re-downloading the input data. I run the model on a server that has 128core with 252G of RAM(centos).
I encountered a new problem. The first problem is the Internet container. Unfortunately, the container internet is disconnected and reconnected, and I unfortunately do not understand why.
The second problem is a few errors while running that I will send you.
My question is whether the run of the model depends on the Internet or not? (Except downloading input data)

Thanks in advance

The model ran with the FW2000climo component, but I do not know if it ran properly. So I will send the output files to you.
Thank you for your help.

Best wishes

I have the similar question when I submit the FHIST run, can you tell me which inputdata you re-downloaded?
Thank you very much.

Hi,
The internet server I was using was interrupted when I downloaded the data, and I ran the model again to continue downloading the data. But by changing the server, the problem of container internet was solved.
My suggestion is to delete all the downloaded data and make sure you have an internet connection (even while downloading the data) and let all the data be downloaded completely and in one go.
I hope your problem is solved too.

Many thanks! My problem has been solved. It is the downloaded input file that have error. And I have re-downloaded the inputdata, thus the model can run successfully.
