CESM run interrupt how to continue

Hi all,

I am wondering how to continue a run if the run was interrupted?

I forgot this week Cheyenne is in maintenance, so yesterday I submitted a job. It was submitted successfully, but didnot run (I feel this should be due to the maintenance). This run is a continue run of my previous runs, which have finished 24 years (1982-2005). I am wondering how can I continue my running after maintenance? Can I submit my case again or I need to use a branch run? Thanks a lot.

Best regards,
Yaqian

Hi Yaqian,

The job you submitted might still be in the queue. So it could start running once cheyenne comes back up. If that doesn't
happen, you can just resubmit the job. No need to do a branch run.

Dear Chris,

Thanks so much. Due to my limited computation time, I am really afraid that I need to run my whole case again. Your answer really relieves me. Thanks!

Best regards,
Yaqian
