CESM2_1: Lower Boundary Conditions for RCP8.5

Hi all, I wanted to ask if there is already a possibility to run an RCP8.5 scenario with CESM2.1. There is a component set "BRCP85L45GBCR" but lower boundary conditions and thus CO2 emissions from fossil fuels are not initialized in the CAM namelist. So, is it already possible to run future scenarios with CESM2.1? Thanks a lot in advance!

No, future senarios are planned to be released in the next release 2.1.1 sometime this quarter.
