Changes to Makefile for using 'xiar' instead of 'ar'

Hi,I have observed that the CESM uses the default GCC ar to create libatm.a file (or other *.a files). However, I want CESM to use xiar and not ar, as I have made changes to the CESM code. Any information about related Make files which I need to modify?Thanks,Aketh Gowda

You can add it to the Macros file in your case directory.AR = xiar
