Hi, everyone! When I build BHIST component in CESM2.1.3, I always get a error in ./case.build (As shown in the attached picture) , but when I changed the CISM2%NOEVOLVE in the case to SGLC,it will build successfully. Can anyone give me some advice? Thank you!

Hi Mickey,

Are you building your case on Cheyenne? If so could you send us the path to your case and run directories?

Thanks

Gunter

Hi Gunter,

Sorry to see your reply so late. I'm building my case on our own supercomputer, not on Cheyenne.I wonder if my mistake has anything to do with the
supercomputer I'm running?Thank you for your reply and best wishes!

HI Mickey,
I see. You are most likely experiencing a porting problem due to your HPC. You have 2 solutions here:
1. Ice sheets in your simulations are not the main focus and you won't need the coupler history files from your simulations to later force the ice sheet model in which case running with a stubbed ice sheet would be just fine.
2. Post you question to this forum with main topics being "Infrastructure (CIME, porting, machines, scripts)" and Jim Edwards might be able to help you with your issue.
Hope this helps

Cheers

Gunter
