Climate Indices?

Are there climate indices (ENSO, AMO, PDO, etc) available for download for b.e11.B1850C5CN.f09_g16.005? I would like them for the entire time interval available (yr 400-2200). If this data is available as a cvs or netcdf for download I would like to know before I attempt to calculate my own indices. Thank you so much!

Yes, there is. The Climate Variability Diagnostics Package (CVDP) is run on many publicly available CESM simulations and writes many different metrics to NetCDF files including metrics for ENSO, AMO and the PDO. The data from a CVDP comparison that contained the CESM coupled control was available internally but I've copied them to the CVDP data repository, although I am having issues modifying the CVDP website to show this new addition. Here's the direct link to the images from the CESM1 LENS control comparison:http://webext.cgd.ucar.edu/Multi-Case/CVDP_repository/cesm1.lens.controls/and here's the direct link to the tar file containing NetCDF files of the output from this comparison:http://webext.cgd.ucar.edu/Multi-Case/CVDP_repository/cesm1.lens.controls/cesm1.lens.controls.cvdp_data.tarFinally, for more information on the CVDP you can visit the homepage here:http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/working_groups/CVC/cvdp/Hope that helps!Adam

Hi Adam,Awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for! Really appreciate the help - it will save me loads of time/work. Right, I could find the CVDP files for the other simulations but not for this specific one. Thanks so much again and have a good one!Sol
