CLM carbon-only

Hi,

I want to run CLM offline in carbon-only mode. Can I use the CN-spinup restart files or do I have to spin the model again in carbon-only mode similar to how the CN spinup is done? I see that that you've made it very easy to set CLM in carbon only mode in the newest CESM by adding "suplnitro = 'ALL'" in clm namelist. Thanks!!

I believe that the CLM in carbon-only mode should initialize correctly with a restart file from a CLM-CN simulation, just as CLM-SP would, too. I recommend looking at variables of interest, because you may need to run for 100 or more yrs to be in equilibrium (depending on your definition of equilibrium).
