CLM outputs question during running

Hi there,I'm using CESM1.2.2 with compset E1850C5CN (turn CN model off), f19_g16. I'd like to do some simulations with changing PCT_PFT.First I spun up my case, and got the restart files (spinup case named e1850c5cn2). Then I changed the variable PCT_PFT in fsurdata file, and used interpinic tools to interpolate the restart file (e1850c5cn2.clm2.r.0044-01-01-00000.nc).All above successfully done. Then I use these restart files (clm2.r using interpolated file) and my new surface data file set up a new case, called e1850cn.  (RUN_TYPE=branch, RUN_REFCASE=e1850c5cn2, RUN_REFDATE=0044-01-01)Then, when I submit my case, there occurs lots of "e1850c5cn.clm2.h0" files very quickly, from year 01 month 01 to year 43 month 12, and only clm2.h0 files without cam or cice file.From year 44, cam, clm, and other outputs appear normally.Since i still need to wait a long time to check the result, I want to ask if this situation is correct? Thanks!

And when i look into the restart files before and after interpolation (clm2.r), I found some variables does not change at all, like air temperature, but ground temperature do chagnes. Why?
