CLM_STRUCTURE xml variable documentation

Describe your problem or question:
I'm wondering if there is a more thorough description/documentation of the xml variable CLM_STRUCTURE and the changes that occur when set to "fast"

The only description I could find is:
Sets CLM default namelist options related to model structure.
standard: Standard model structure, allowing for more subgrid heterogeneity, deeper soil, etc., at the cost of slower speeds.
fast: Simplified model structure, achieving faster speeds at the cost of less subgrid heterogeneity, shallower soil, etc.

I am not aware of more thorough documentation for this, so I would suggest creating a case with "standard" and a case with "fast" and comparing the namelist files.
