We've been unsuccessful in creating a 0.01x0.01 global dataset thus far. If you are still interesting in running the model at high resolution see this post where a global 0.05x0.05 deg dataset was created and then subsetted for use in a regional simulation. Keep in mind that most of the input datasets are at resolutions that are coarser than 0.05 deg, so most of the surface dataset fields are going to be "blocky".
