Daily gfed forcing data ?

I want to run some biomass burning experiments where I use daily GFED observations to force the model. I see that there are a handful of years that have daily GFED forcing files available in /glade/campaign/acom/MUSICA/emis/gfed/f09_daily (2016-2020).

Are daily emissions files available elsewhere on GLADE for earlier years of the GFED record (1997-2015)? I recognize that there are daily qfed emission files over this time period but using GFED is optimal given its use in CMIP BMB emissions.

Hi Brandon,

We do not currently have daily GFED input. We have the monthly CMIP7 (which are GFEDv4s) processed for use in CESM.
If you want daily, you would have to produce these yourself. Keep me posted if you do this!
