difference between singular and plural in stop_option / rest_option?

What's the difference in choosing between nstep vs nsteps, nday vs ndays, etc. in stop_option / rest_option? Say I wanted to run a 5-day simulation. Do I use nday or ndays? It can't possibly be that if I were doing a 1-day simulation, I'd use nday...can it??

No difference - they are synomonous.
