Hi All, I am porting CESM1.2.2 on new machine( Linux + ifort compiler). I am following porting steps given in the cesm1.2 user guide(page no. 51-54) (via userdefined ). This indicates that NetCDF or at least the fortran part of it was built with a different compiler.

Hi Jedwards,I see. I am calling mvapich2_intel/14.0 for the mpi,  but I belive the the NETCDF_4.3.2 was build under mvapich_intel/11.1 by default by our ITS manager. I need to reinstall the netcdf. BTW, I think I saw from the user guide or somewhere that mvapich and intel 11.1 was not suggested to compile CESM. Can you point me why? What will be the possible problems? I am new to CESM or CAM-Chem. Thanks again for your help!
