error in running cesm1_0_4

hello,

I tried running B_1850_2000_CN with the restart files ftp://ftp.cgd.ucar.edu/pub/mai/ccsm4_init/b40.t31x3.037b/ at t31 resolution, I am getting the following error while running

what does this mean 'file lev does not match model'.

The error indicates that CAM was built for 30 levels which does not match the 26 levels in the restart file.  The compset B_1850-2000_CN uses cam4 which is 26 levels.  It appears that the executable was not actually produced by a default B_1850-2000_CN compset, but that some inconsistent modification has been made.

Hi Eaton, Thanks a lot for your point. As there was inconsistency in CAM5 and CAM4 levels. I am now able to run the compset B_1850-2000_CN.
