Error occured when using CCSM output as atmospheric forcing to run CLM

Dear all,

I can build the model successfully in this case and I set up the model according to the CLM user's guide, however, the simulation crashed when CLM running using a CCSM output as atmospheric forcing. The error information in cesm.log file shows that:seq_flds_mod: seq_flds_x2w_states= Sa_u:Sa_v:Sa_tbot:Si_ifrac:So_t:So_u:So_v:So_bldepthseq_flds_mod: seq_flds_x2w_fluxes=   NetCDF: Variable not found pio_support::pio_die:: myrank=          -1 : ERROR: nf_mod.F90:         679 :  NetCDF: Variable not found. It seems that the crash is caused by lack of necessary variables in atmospheric forcing data, while after I checked the atmospheric forcing data, I find there are all variables which is needed for CLP running. The variables that CLM need for this case are:  a2x3h_Faxa_swndr     swndr  a2x3h_Faxa_swvdr     swvdr  a2x3h_Faxa_swndf     swndf  a2x3h_Faxa_swvdf     swvdf  a2x3h_Faxa_rainc     rainc  a2x3h_Faxa_rainl     rainl  a2x3h_Faxa_snowc     snowc  a2x3h_Faxa_snowl     snowl a2x3h_Sa_z           z  a2x3h_Sa_u           u  a2x3h_Sa_v           v  a2x3h_Sa_tbot        tbot  a2x3h_Sa_ptem        ptem    a2x3h_Sa_shum        shum  a2x3h_Sa_pbot        pbot  a2x3h_Faxa_lwdn      lwdn  a2x3h_Sa_dens        dens  a2x3h_Sa_pslv        pslv I have checked that the atmospheric forcing data obtained from CCSM have all these variables. I wonder whether anyone else meet this kind of problem and anyone can give me help.

Thanks!

I'm not sure but it looks like your namelist is incomplete or not being read properly - should this variable be empty?seq_flds_mod: seq_flds_x2w_fluxes=

Thanks for your reply, but it seems seq_flds_x2w_fluxes is not the cause of the simulation crash, since I find there are also this information in my another simulation which runs well. The information is like this:seq_flds_mod: seq_flds_x2r_fluxes= Flrl_rofliq:Flrl_roficeseq_flds_mod: seq_flds_w2x_states= Sw_lamult:Sw_ustokes:Sw_vstokes:Sw_hstokesseq_flds_mod: seq_flds_w2x_fluxes=  seq_flds_mod: seq_flds_x2w_states= Sa_u:Sa_v:Sa_tbot:Si_ifrac:So_t:So_u:So_v:So_bldepthseq_flds_mod: seq_flds_x2w_fluxes=      1 pes participating in computation for CLM
