ERROR: (shr_stream_verifyTCoord) ERROR: calendar dates must be increasing

Hi all,

I am using datm forcing stream in two machines.

I received an error: ERROR: (shr_stream_verifyTCoord) ERROR: calendar dates must be increasing in the atm.log in machine A while no error in machine B.

So I am just curious whether this issue is about the case settings like STOP_N or RESUBMIT or others?

It seems like it has something to do with your datm streams. The model date is 20340228 and it seems like the datm is trying to loop back over the forcing perhaps, it's going from 20340331 to 20150101. I would compare your streams files in the two cases since I think you are indicating that it runs fine in machine B but not machine A....

Thanks for your suggestion. Based on your comments, I found where '2023-03' file is read in the atm.log, that is:

(shr_dmodel_readstrm) file ub: /mnt/lustre/a2fs-nvme/work/n02/n02/yuansun/CPLHIST/SSP370/b.e21.BSSP370cmip6.f09_g17.CMIP6-SSP3-7.0.102.cpl.ha2x1d.2034-03.nc 1

I am not sure whether any "*.2034-03.nc" or "*.2034-02.nc" stream files were wrong so I ran testing jobs with monthly outputs.

I found it should be "*.2034-03.nc" and then I replaced the five files (ha2x1d, hax1h, hax1hi, hax3h, hr2x) in 2034-03 and re-run jobs. They worked.
