Forcing CLM with Atmospheric C13 Data

Hi, I would like to make a transient run of standalone CLM  over the industrial period with isotopic forcing. However, I couldn't find out how to apply that forcing through DATM. Do I have to modify DATM and/or coupler to include a new transient field or is there an easy way to do it?

If the documentation does not mention this option or capability, it means that you need to add it yourself.
Adding yourself is rather complicated in my opinion, but you may use an existing variable as a template for guidance.
