Based on the information you've provided, I'm guessing you've set up your simulation without crop acitve (17) and your surface dataset has crops on it (21).

Dear Professor
I am trying to download cesm1_2_2 source code through svn server for CLM5.0 simulation. While downloading, I got the following error.
cesm1_2_2/scripts/doc/usersguide/buildcase.xml
cesm1_2_2/scripts/doc/usersguide/runcase.xml
cesm1_2_2/scripts/doc/ChangeLog
cesm1_2_2/scripts/doc
Checked out external at revision 91832.

Checked out revision 91832.
svn: E205011: Failure occurred processing one or more externals definitions.

I'm going to move this to CESM General because I'm not familiar with the svn server operations.

Hi Dr. Mahesh,

Try downloading cesm1_2_2_1.

CESM 1.2.2.1 is the port of CESM1.2.2 to NCAR machine cheyenne.
No other changes or updates to the code base are included in this release.

The pio external was moved, which is probably giving you this error message.

Dear Professor
I am trying to execute point simulation in clm4.0 of CIME. I have been successfully created the case with available machines name in cime (like homebrew, cheyenne, euler2) with following command
./create_newcase --case mycase1 --mach homebrew --res f19_g17 --compset QPC4 --project UUWS0005 --run-unsupported
Previously I have done point simulation for clm4.0 of cesm1 _2_2. The machine and compiler configuration of CIME is different than CESM.
Should I use CESM1_2_2 conf_machine.xml and conf_compiler.xml format in CIME ? Does it work ?

Thanking You
