Formulation of heating rates

I am relatively new to using the 3-D CAM.

I am trying to make three new variables to output in the history files of my CAM run:

The first one Id like to create is Q1, the apparent heat source. I am pretty confused about what variables in CAM need to be summed to form Q1. There are so many tendency and heating variables. Im sure others must have formed Q1 from model variables so I thought Id see if someone could help me to do this.

The second variable Id like to output is just the latent heating as a function of height for each grid column.

Finally, I have been trying to figure out how to calculate velocity potential at 200mb with the variables in CAM.

Any insight into how to form these variables with the variables in CAM would be appreciated.
