How long it is needed for spinup the CESM for the F_2000_CN?

Hi all,I was trying to use the CESM1.1.1 using the COMPSET of F_2000_CN? Is that mean that the CAM and CLM are both activated with the prescribed ice/ocn? Furthermore, the spinup time for the CAM is short, while the spinup time for the CLM is long, so for the CESM, how long is it needed? Thanks very much, and looking forward to your reply. Best,Xiaolu

Yes, for F compsets, CAM and CLM are active while the ice and ocean are prescribed. For spinup, I suppose it depends on whether or not you're making a change to the case that it's necessary to spin up for. That might be a good question for the CLM forums.
