How to add a tracer

Hi all~    Recently I am considering to add a bulk tracer of black carbon in compset FSDSMAM (GEOS5 meteorology; cam5 physics; trop_strat_mam3 chemistry) . Could anyone  familiar with it give me a hint? Thank you!                                 Joy
