How to add absorption optical depth into CAM4 history fields?

Hi everyone,
I need to add AAOD into CAM4 history fields, but it seems that there's no AAOD in the master field list of CAM4. Is it possible that I can get an output of absorption optical depth? I've noticed that in the master field list of CAM5 there's AODABS. Can I add this variable into fincl1 in a CAM4 case?

I think there was a variable AEROD_v in CAM4.
AEROD_v was defined as "Total Aerosol Optical Depth in visible".

AEROD_v stands for total aerosol optical depth due to extinction, but I'm looking for the optical depth due to absorption. I checked the source code "aer_rad_props" and there was extinction optical depth "tau" and scattering optical depth "tau_w". Can I add "tau_w" into the output field so I can calculate absorption?
