how to check is my model use the revised files under src in clm

Hi, all,

Recently we obtained the source code (.F90 file in biogeochem) under /src folder,

CMakeLists.txt biogeochem cpl init_interp soilbiogeochem unit_test_stubs
README.unit_testing biogeophys dyn_subgrid main unit_test_shr utils

Then I replaced the old src file with a modified one, the model runs well.
But I need to confirm the model used the modifed .F90 file as apposed to the old one.
How can I check? Is there any file recording which step uses which files?
