I am attempting to modify atmospheric CO₂ concentrations in CESM1.3-GECO by adopting observation-based CO₂ data, aiming to explore the corresponding changes in ocean biogeochemical processes.
So far, I have confirmed that OCN_CO2_TYPE should be set to "diagnostic" and CCSM_BGC set to "CO2A". Nevertheless, I am confused about the follow-up configuration steps.
Besides, I have already compiled monthly observational CO₂ concentration data (in ppm) and organized it into a standard NetCDF file ready for use. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could share relevant setup guidance or practical experience.
