How to set up a B compset with different land-sea mask?

I would like to set up a B compset using a different ocean model that I integrated in CESM1.2.The ocean grid and land-sea mask are different from the available POP2 grids.I already created domain and mapping files for several atm/lnd grids, and indeed I can run C and G compsets.I have no experience with CLM and I'm trying to figure out what are the steps I need to do to set up a B compset (fv09 and/or ne30) using CLM4 .Given the new land-sea mask, I suppose I can't use the available initial conditions and/or restart files, right? Should I perform a cold start or should I use use interpinic on the available initial conditions? And what about the other input files like for example pft data or surfdata? Should I create new dataset on the new mask using CLM tools (mksurfdata_map)?Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
