How to use pdb for parallel debug on AIX

Hi , I'm a cesm user. I need to debug  for my modified cesm code. I currently use an AIX machine, the debuger is pdb.But I know little about how to use it for debug. Can anyone give some help.
I have used gdb for seriel debug before, in a interactive way. On aix, the job is submmited by llsubmit, so I'm curious how to do it.
